LaGuardia Airport to Manhattan by Public Bus
There are a few options for heading into Manhattan from LaGuardia and once you make your way into the city, you can transfer to the subway to reach loads of destinations all over New York. If you have lots of luggage, travel at rush hour (7-10am and 4-8pm) will be challenging. You will need to pay your fare in coins so make sure you have some handy.
The M60 bus leaves from all terminals at LaGuardia to 125th St at Broadway with transfers available ($2 extra) to the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, A, C and D subway trains. The buses start running at approximately 5am and end at 1am, seven days a week.
Time: About 40 minutes.
The Q48 bus runs from all LaGuardia terminals except for the Marine Air Terminal to Jackson Heights in Queens between 4:30am to 1am. From there you can transfer to the E, F, R, V, and 7 subway lines.
Time: The Q48 takes 30 minutes from the airport to Flushing.
The Q47 bus leaves only from the Marine Air Terminal and goes to Jackson Heights where you can connect to the E, F, R, V, and 7 subway lines.
